Worship: the air we breathe

Our worship planning process centers on a single individual - You, the worship leader. As the main person, you have the huge responsibility of keeping everyone up to date, and keeping the team (music, body praise, projector, bible reader, lay ministers, moderator) organized.

Through this group site, you no longer have to be the center of the planning process. Rather, this keeps track of the all service-related detail, from building worship-flow details down to the minute, scheduling and confirmation from the team. We will be inviting team representatives to join in so they would be aware of the worship plan and suggest improvements, if necessary. Hopefully, it will be useful in gathering statistics (i.e. how many times a particular song was used, worship themes, etc.) as well as feedback on how the service went.

Stop and Say Thank you

Is there a sadder example of the human nature than the parable of the ten lepers?

To understand the magnitude of the miracle, we have to understand what a disease of society leprosy was. Lepers were driven from their homes and forced to live in caves away from the general population, there was little hope of healing; and usually, they died in the exile. When Jesus healed the ten lepers, not only was He breaking the laws of the Jewish society-- but He was showing compassion to the lowest echelon of mankind. For them to have been healed was a dream far beyond any that they could have hoped for.
But as each went his way rejoicing, only one returned to tell Jesus: ‘thank you’.

Let’s top and reflect on all the prayers that have been answered and see how many times we forgot to say ‘thank you’. Not only does our Father relish in our praise, but He desires our thanksgiving.

Luke 15-17: “One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him (and he was a Samaritan). Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?”

It’s Thanksgiving Day.... Thank You, Lord for my co-workers in the Worship Ministry. Thank You, Lord for Rivers of Living Water Catholic Community!
