I just sent Jun Mercader a lengthy letter re the above. I am not against the project, I am against the 1billion plus pesos that Fr Suzrez will spend for it.
If you want to know more about what I said, please ask JUN to post my letter.
If you ask me, the cost is too much, and in these times, it is insulting to spend that much. The world, including our poor country, is suffering from the worst economic downfalls in history. Can we show the world that "we do not care?"

Yes sir, I am a Roman Catholilc.
As one, I believe. I have the prerogative to ask questions pertaining to the church I belong to. Do you agree?
I have respect for religious authorities as long as they remain respectable. Any sign or signs that point otherwise, then that respect becomes diminished, or totally dimmed, and finally, extinguished.
And you sir, are you a blind follower?
