Birth Anniversary of President Corazon Aquino
On January 24 and 25, 2010, we will be commemorating the birth anniversary of former President Cory who was fondly dubbed by Time Magazine as “The Saint of Democracy”. It will be a celebration of Mrs. Aquino’s life and gift to the Filipino people – and to the world. On this special occasion, all parishes have been invited to dedicate one of the masses on Sunday, January 24, as a special mass to honor her legacy. And, on Monday, January 25, at 12 nn, all churches have been invited to ring their church bells.
TULOYPNOY Leaders and Volunteers: Please go to your parishes and encourage your parish priests to be part of this commemorative event. Spread the word about the special mass and ringing of church bells. Let us invite everyone to pray for the upholding of our democracy.
